Data import

In simple words

Data import is part of SelfRun CommandOS. Leads, clients and employees from validated CSV files. This guide takes you through it in 5 short steps.

Where it fits in your work — Invite. Invite people by email with a role; verified accounts get access to exactly the products you choose.

Before you start

• You need to be signed in to your company's workspace. SelfRun CommandOS appears in the Workspace dashboard and in the left menu when your role includes it.
• What you can see and change depends on your role. If a menu item or button is missing, ask your workspace owner to give your role access in Workspace → Users.
• Data import belongs to Organisation in SelfRun CommandOS. Leads, clients and employees from validated CSV files.

   Open SelfRun CommandOS

   Sign in to your company's Workspace. You see only what your role allows.

   Open “Import data”

   In the left menu, click “Import data”. The “Import data” screen opens.

   Narrow the list

   Use these filters to see only what you want:

   • 1. What are you importing?
   • 2. Choose your CSV file

   You will also see these buttons:

   • ClientsAdded to Projects → Clients.

   Leads, clients and employees from validated CSV files.

Tips

• You can use more than one filter together (1. What are you importing?, 2. Choose your CSV file) to see exactly the records you want.
• If you make a mistake, open the record again and correct it. Changes are recorded against your name so your team can see who did what.
