SEO — Backlinks: the real screen
The real screen used in this guide.

In simple words

Backlinks is part of SEO. Monitor who links to you. This guide takes you through it in 9 short steps.

Where it fits in your work — Research. Group keywords, watch rankings and competitors.

Before you start

  • You need to be signed in to your company's workspace. SEO appears in the Workspace dashboard and in the left menu when your role includes it.
  • What you can see and change depends on your role. If a menu item or button is missing, ask your workspace owner to give your role access in Workspace → Users.
  • Backlinks belongs to Search & links in SEO. Monitor who links to you.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Open SEO

Sign in and open the SEO panel from your Workspace dashboard (or sign in to it directly). You see only what your role allows.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Open “Backlinks”

In the left menu, click “Backlinks”. The “Backlinks” screen opens.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Choose a view

Use the tabs at the top of the screen to switch between:

    • Backlinks
    • Referring domains
    • Anchor text
  4. 4

    Step 4

    Find what you need

Type in the search box (“Source, anchor or target”) to find a record quickly.

  5. 5

    Step 5

    Narrow the list

Use these filters to see only what you want:

    • Search
    • Status
    • Rel
  6. 6

    Step 6

    Read the list

    Each row shows:

    • Source
    • Target
    • Anchor
    • Rel
    • Status
    • DR (est.)
    • First seen
    • Verified
  7. 7

    Step 7

    Add a new one

Click “Import CSV” to add one. A form opens for the details.

  8. 8

    Step 8

    Other actions on this screen

You will also see these buttons:

    • Verify all
    • Add backlink
    • CSV
    • Excel
    • Source
    • Target
    • Status
    • DR (est.)
  9. 9

    Step 9

    Done

    Monitor who links to you.

Tips

  • You can use more than one filter together (Status, Rel) to see exactly the records you want.
  • The search box accepts: Source, anchor or target. Start typing and the list narrows down.
  • Use “CSV” or “Excel” to download what you see, for example to share it or keep a copy.
  • “Import CSV” lets you add many records at once from a file instead of one by one.
  • The tabs (Backlinks, Referring domains, Anchor text) show different views of the same data — switching tabs never changes anything.
  • Click a row to open that record and see all of its details.
  • If you make a mistake, open the record again and correct it. Changes are recorded against your name so your team can see who did what.
