Question import


In simple words
Question import is part of Online Tests. Bring questions in from files. This guide takes you through it in 4 short steps.
Where it fits in your work — Build. Questions go into categories; tests are timed with sections and randomisation.
Before you start
- You need to be signed in to your company's workspace. Online Tests appears in the Workspace dashboard and in the left menu when your role includes it.
- What you can see and change depends on your role. If a menu item or button is missing, ask your workspace owner to give your role access in Workspace → Users.
- Question import belongs to Assessments in Online Tests. Bring questions in from files.

Open Online Tests
Sign in and open the Online Tests panel from your Workspace dashboard (or sign in to it directly). You see only what your role allows.

Open “Import Questions”
In the left menu of Online Tests, open the page called “Import Questions” (some pages sit inside a menu group — click the group to expand it).

Tips
- Use “CSV template” or “Excel template” to download what you see, for example to share it or keep a copy.
- If you make a mistake, open the record again and correct it. Changes are recorded against your name so your team can see who did what.

I cannot see Question import in the menu.
Your role may not include it. Ask your workspace owner to open Workspace → Users and give your role access to Online Tests.
Can I do this on my phone?
